Hi! I’m really curious what people have found most useful for chronic pain treatment. I’m about a year into neck and back pain that doesn’t seem to go away with much. I enjoy yoga, camping, skiiing, hanging in the park, and other outdoor activities a lot! Chiro and injections haven’t helped for the past three months. Rolfing is the best I’ve encountered but still won’t knock it all out. Seeing a spine specialist next month too.

See if a neurologist thinks botox would help.

I have a Mexican marijuana script and it helps my pain more than anything else. I usually just take it at night so it does not disrupt my day. Nights I take it I find that I wake up feeling a little better in the morning! I also always recommend heat! I also love the other recommendations of PT, chiro, and Botox, all of which have helped me!

A combination of chiro, PT (traction specifically), and massage therapy worked for me but I still experience flare ups that suck. I’m getting a breast reduction which should hopefully help alleviate a lot of the forward/top heavy weight that contributes to my back and neck pain and posture. It’s drastic, but I’ve been dealing with this pain for 7 years so I think drastic is a bit justified now. You keep advocating for yourself because you are your best advocate

Traction at PT is great. I've also tried dry needling and had great results. I stopped going because I moved but I'm thinking about starting it again.
