I have suffered with severe low back pain for 15+ years now and I take a lot of heavy medication for it and I was wondering if anyone has had success with any other treatments? I have had 2 back surgeries, nerve blocks (several times) done ablation, tried TENS and I am currently back in PT to try to help with the pain but nothing seems to work.

Thank you all for your comments, this is a wonderful space I find that there are so many of us out there suffering from the same issues and now we have a place that we can come and kind of vent our frustration. Thank you again and I wish you all the best.šŸ’•

@Sunshine_Sue my doctor wants me to try that but I have heard it it's a 50/50 chance of it working and I've had so much surgery done that I'm just afraid to try something new that would require a little bit of surgery and have it not work.

@Kenzif it is a 50/50 chance. It doesnā€™t always cover all of my pain but what it does cover Iā€™m grateful for. It works great for certain areas of my back. I donā€™t think Iā€™ll ever be pain free.

My pain is sacral, but the pain spreads throughout my pelvis, back, and sometimes legs. It *always hurts, the question is just how much. My most successful treatments have been: Acupuncture (the Balance Method, specifically) Craniosacral massage and therapy Nortriptyline (an older nerve dampener prescription that used to be used for veteran ptsd, it has *very low side effects)

Same, it's been 17yrs for me. Mine is my SI area but my si joints are normal. Still haven't had full MRI, been fighting for those for years. I have done si shots and trigger points and on meds have tried muscle relaxers. Still in pain. Currently I use a balm from my local despensory that is awesome. But never goes away. I hope u get some relief.

@Jlync80 thank you so much! I would very much like to get off some of my heavy meds but I just don't see how.
