I feel like people always do things differently when traveling. Like I brought a book on my first plane trip knowing full well that I only read in bed and never sitting. So, bring things that are familiar to you. Like... wear your favorite jacket and PJ pants, download your favorite albums/music, download your favorite shows/movies, install games on your phone that you enjoy, bring your favorite snacks, buy a travel size bottle of a lotion that smells good to you, bring fidget toys. Whatever works for you! Just try to include as many senses as possible. Just indulge in comforts

CBD oil! Make sure if it’s more than 3ml or whatever it is to pack it in your checked bag. Drip some under your tongue before you leave for the airport and you’ll be nice and relaxed. Safe travels!

And have a drink if you get too hot I used to freak out in planes because of how much people but I just either space out the window or fidget with whatever I have and take deep breathes if it’s too much

I would just focus on myself as much as I can and listen to music or watch a movie

I’d say take some stuff that will keep your mind busy. Music, books, movies, series, video games, etc.

I get motion sickness really bad and also have had panic attacks on multiple planes so I always have dramamine and snacks with me. I always order a sprite or sparkling water to settle my stomach too. A friend of mine taught me a trick where you get a drink, set it on the table, and watch it move in the cup. I'm not sure why but it really helps me relax. I also sat by a pilot during a flight I was on and he told me to really just focus on deep breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth. It's really just a lot of basic things but those are now the things I do on every flight. Side note: the dramamine helps me mostly because it makes me extremely tired which helps me sleep even when I'm not relaxed. I only take it when I am traveling with someone that I trust and feel comfortable around. I don't have claustrophobia so I don't have tips for that other than maybe having an aisle seat or researching which seats will have more leg room on the plane you'll be on (like emergency exit seats). Good luck with your flight!
