Hi, been dealing with being scared of having a panic attack after 2 attacks that scared me a few months ago. I locked myself inside my room for a month not wanting to leave the house or eat too much due to the fear of having another panic attack. Got therapy and have been doing better and better, even stepped way out of my comfort zone and traveled to another state with my friend. The only thing that’s made me anxious right now is the plane ride back. Any suggestions/tips/advice on how to help with flight anxiousness??

Honestly I was terrified of planes I had never been on one but recently I had too and I was very scared. It's honestly pretty fun and if you have a friend there I'm sure they wouldn't mind letting you hold their arm or some other comfort. I had to go alone but some mom put her hand on my arm and it kept me from having a full blown panic attack

The real question is what are you scared of about a plane? For me, I had a panic attack on a plane and that’s what scares me. It helps me to have a mind set of whatever scared me before was a situation not related to the plane, but rather in the airport. I have been ok planes since and it helps me to breathe and remind my self that it was a situation not related to the plane, and planes are safer than cars
