hello. I'm looking for people who have similar conditions to me. I'd like to hear experiences and find this that have helped you manage your conditions, and your stories. thanks for being here.
Chronic Generalized pain
apparently we are 77% alike lol
59% alike but would be more, we both have bipolar, I just sometimes hear and see shit with it
Bipolar 2- Meds, therapy, interpersonal skills
BPD- DBT (therapy), interpersonal skills
Fibromyalgia - find your triggers and reduce or eliminate exposure. Fibro is dependent on the person.
I've done a lot of these things. I've been pushing my body physically, so I can do more things. Repeating movements can have me in agony, within a few minutes.
Why is it called complex PTSD on your profile? What makes it different from regular PTSD?
I'm doing doing well with words tonight, please forgive me for just dropping a link. https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-complex-ptsd-2797491
thank you! I'm going to pass this on to somebody else so I know it's in the mental hospital right now and he could use this information. Is it too much trouble to ask what happened to you to cause you to have it? You could do on the chat part so I don't have to be publicized
We don’t have a TON in common, but we have similar suffers. Plus we share one medicine in common and both eat plant-based! I’m always head to talk with 🤗 💕
we have quite a bit! Have you always been plant based. I'm down to chat.
Awesome! 🤗 No, I actually went vegan in 2016, which was 2 years before my MS diagnosis. What about you?
I went in 2019 after figuring out gluten makes my fibromyalgia worse. Then, I discovered other foods, including meats. So, I had to learn what to eat. I ate a lot of stir fry that summer, while I was figuring out what food bothered me and simple food to eat.
I realized I had a gluten sensitivity and it changed my life! But yea, changing the way you eat as an adult can be super tough. Sticking with stir fry is smart! Good way to get veggies and protein without too much trouble. Beans and greens are a really good and easy way to eat too. Through it something orange/yellow like sweet potatoes, carrots or squash and that’s a pretty rounded out meal!
