Having a before bed routine (reading a book, skin care, yoga, etc) can make your brain associate these rituals with sleep. Having a rhythm to follow can get you to sleep faster.
I struggle with this too. I do take Gabapentin at night to help with anxiety. Headspace is a wonderful app. Also my therapist suggested turning off electronics before bed. They can keep you awake longer.
