Does anyone have any tips on how to stop or manage hair pulling. As well as how to regrow hair from it?

My hair pulling was severe, I was never able to get it under control. I finally found a medication that helps. Mirtazapine took it down from 100 hairs a day to now one yesterday and zero today.

Hey! I've had trich since 13, got so bad to the point I had to shave my head at 15. Proud to say now I'm 23 and pull very minimally. It's not the easiest method of stopping, but meditation and mindfulness did it for me. Meditation soothed my anxiety and completely rewired my brain. With practice, it makes you completely aware of the moment and it's easier to stop when you have the urge. Also, studies show it permanently rewires the brain to a more stable neurologal make-up. If not that, I put on cotton gloves, or put socks on my hands if I'm at home. But anyways, rosemary oil mixed with a carrier oil, like coconut or jojoba, once a week on the scalp grows back hair very quickly. Castor oil is godsent. Put it on wherever you pull and it grows hair back very, very quickly. Goodluck!
