      Yah when Iā€™m anxious or abt to have a panic attack my heart hurts like this odd pain I canā€™t really describe it feels like the anxiousness is in my heart,, or like itā€™s falling nd flying up at the same time or feels like Iā€™m having a heart attack (donā€™t worry tho ur not) my heart will also either beat rlly hard or fast, it will pass tho it is scary and annoying but itā€™ll be fine

          @SunInAugust yah so annoying I get like a random thump sumtimes like my heart just tried to punch my chest, like itā€™s trying to escape nd it stops me from what Iā€™m doin for a sec cus it kinda takes the wind outta me nd definitely a strong pain for a sec,, kinda like it stops for a sec then thumps rlly hard

          @Katharina so many things than your anxious heart can imagine in this moment. I promise you they exist even when you cannot feel them. I'll lay out some choices but I get the feeling what you need most is a hug, not a list. When you've had a good cry maybe reading this list might help: Calling a friend. Ice packs on wrists. Deep breathing. A 10 min meditation on Spotify. Put your feet on grass. Watch something funny. Clean for 10 minutes. Walk for 10 minutes. Journal. There are 3 things I know for sure. You are capable of surviving through the discomfort of this feeling. Those coping skills will feel stupid and useless often and you frequently will need to do many back to back to back to find relief and thats okay because you aren't a vending machine. You don't get to put in self care and coping skills and get out being a functional human being by societies measures. And that's beautiful because by my measure you being overwhelmed with anxiety is all the humanity you have to embody. You are cherishable even in your anxiety. And I'm very certain the feeling will pass. It will pass. It will be okay. I promise.
