I was diagnosed with nocturnal Epilepsy a few years ago when I had a stroke, but before that I had a few as a baby. Right now I’m in remission off of meds, but I feel like I never really needed them in the first place? I never had any seizures prior to the stroke, and after that nobody ever caught me seizing in my sleep or anything. I just want to know any symptoms that could help me understand if I had a seizure in my sleep or not.

I've had those as well when I was younger. I was told it's not technically epilepsy, that it's counted as a mental disorder, such as PTSD and Bipolar. Mainly triggered by something that traumatized the patient. For me when there were child molestation scenes in movies or shows, it triggered mine. Luckily I no longer triggered by anything related to child molestation. (Ever since I was in the VFD a couple years ago. Had to leave though when I couldn't drive from a seizure.) Plus since my brain surgery in January, I no longer have my migraines like I used to.
