Did anyone develop long autoimmune symptoms after a bad virus? I had influenza type A in 2018. It left me with a cough and a low grade fever. The cough was diagnosed as asthma. An inhaler helped. The low grade fever never went away. They did bloodwork and found a positive ANA. They can’t find anything specific for autoimmune disease. So every day I feel like I have a mild flu. Body aches, fatigue, low grade fever.

I didn't have a bad virus. I lost my spleen in an 2009 in a 18wheeler accident. I started to research the lupus illnesses. Many of my symptoms had have me thinking about a autoimmune illnesses. I would check into a DNA test to see your percentage of varients for lupus
