Are Autoimmune Diseases Inherited?

I was diagnosed with Lupus sle in 2005, a long time of research and awareness. I believe I had systems as a child that bloomed in teenage years. Do you think we are born with this autoimmune situation?

There seems to be evidence we have it in our genetic code and are prone to developing it depending on our environment, but who knows for sure 🤷‍♀️
