Worried About Abdominal Pain - Is It Appendicitis?

Yes, it could be **appendicitis**. When I had it I thought it was a pulled muscle so I didn't go, in the end I had a hole in my appendix and I needed a more urgent and more dangerous operation. The doctors told me that if I had arrived earlier everything might have been more simple, but I was hospitalized for almost a week and had major surgery because of it. You shouldn't neglect it, you should go.

Soreness and Pain in Lower Right Back and Abdomen

When I had my surgery, I had endometriosis on my bladder, appendix, outside lining of my uterus, exterior of my Fallopian tubes and ovaries…It was such a mess inside. I would recommend surgery if you’re bleeding that much. I got to a point where I felt like I was going to die. I had fake bladder infections due to the swelling on my bladder and I was in the hospital every weekend getting CT scans because they thought I had **appendicitis** but I didn’t. I felt 💯 times better after the surgery and I’m going on 3 years of very little endo pain

Sudden, sharp pain that has you doubled over and feels like it might be **appendicitis**. Also if your pain is so bad you're throwing up and you've been throwing up for hours, you need IV fluids and maybe some zofran wouldn't hurt

Yes, but in a different way. In my case they were dismissive of my anxiety symptoms. When I had my first panic attack I thought I was dying. I didn’t realize it was stress. My stomach and chest hurt so bad I was rushed into the E.R. I genuinely thought I was having a heart attack but after they ran tests, that were inconclusive, they said it was symptoms relating to menstruation. This is when I didn’t even have my period yet. I tried to explain the pain but since I’m a woman it was brushed off as a womens issue and discharged me. The same thing also happened with **appendicitis**. I had sharp stomach pains which were initially dismissed as menstrual related. Long story short doctors tend to have preconceived notion’s about you based on your appearance or chart instead of looking at the symptoms. Try to find a doctor who will listen to you and your symptoms.
