does anyone else experience dependacy on geodon? whenever my psychiatrist decreases my dosage i experience withdrawals. however, when i google it it says it's non-addictive. i'm changing my medication around to vraylar and possibly invega and i feel super sick while transitioning to them. to add further context i also stopped taking it entirely once and i experienced very bad side effects then as well to a very strong degree lol

my psychiatrist treats me on symptoms alone - because of this, he told me that my symptoms were somewhere in between bipolar i and schizoaffective disorder. he said that treatments were the same so he wasn't focused on finding which one suits me best. for people with experience, how did you get diagnosed with one or the other? how should i go about figuring out which one i have? i'm a bit confused about the difference between bipolar i with psychosis vs schizoaffective disorder when i google it lol. so i would love some personal experiences

What tips does everyone have to manage either the positive or negative schizoaffective symptoms? For example, I am short sighted and if I want to know if it's a visual hallucination or not I take my glasses off. If it stays clear I know it isn't real.

I have a job interview tomorrow morning. Does anyone have any advice when it comes to what stage of the employment process one should mention mental health conditions at? For clarification, I am mostly stable on this medication combination and already have one p/t job, but I have lost a job due to my mental health way back when.

it's been a long journey but I'm finally feeling pretty well. Invega and Seroquel are what I'm on and I feel pretty level headed. I've tried about 10 other meds and they either put me too manic or too low. Good luck to you all I hope you find something that works well.

How do you mitigate the weight gain associated with your meds? I have tried diet, and exercise but had no real changes.

I'm curious how others symptoms present themselves.
