I try to follow a diabetic diet, but I'm pretty new to the US (I'm from Europe), what ingredients should I look for in the stores? We have ALDI and Walmart mostly here. I would like to order sometimes uncooked meals with preselected ingredients, which provider is the best for this? When we are eating somewhere else, usually a gyro is a good option for me, but what meal can I order from pretty much anywhere, that's safe for me? (No rice, no potato, no sugar, overall low carb and good carb.) Is there a diet for hypothyroidism? I only follow the diabetic diet so far, but I need tips, we would like to conceive in this year later.

I have had insulin resistance for several years. I eat healthy for the most part and exercise about 3 days a week. I've dropped from 265 to 239 pounds. I want to drop to 200 to 210 pounds.

Hey!!! This is my first post here, and I just. Wanted to discuss health issues tbh. I've always struggled with losing weight since I was a kid (and my relatives instilled an ED in the process, which STILL didn't have me lose weight-) and it's gotten worse over time. Last year, I tried a fasting diet as it was one of the few I haven't tried yet. However instead, my weight had gone UP. It was then I had gotten diagnosed with metabolic syndrome. From what I've read, it makes it almost impossible to lose weight. And with some of my other conditions ( ED & Sensory issues from ADHD) it makes it hard to enact certain diets to lose weight. Have you guys figured anything out that can help? I'd love to hear some tips before I just surrender entirely to the fact I'm never gonna stop gaining weight š„²

Hi I'm Erica. Diagnosed with Grave's disease and had recent thyroidectomy. Recently diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. Haven't lost any weight since the surgery. Anyone else have experience with these metabolic disorders who can offer me advice?
