Looking for input on taking Crestor for high cholesterol

22F, never been on statins, total cholesterol of about 280. Had advanced lab testing done through a lipid specialist. he is recommending Crestor. Has anyone taken crestor? I know people my age aren’t usually on statins, looking for some input. Thanks (:

High Cholesterol and Advanced Lipid Panel Results

I recently had my first in depth advanced lipid panel / Cardiometabolic Report done. It tested things like Lp-PLA2 Activity, ADMA, 11 dhTxB2/Creatinine, hs-CRP, along with the basic LDL, HDL, and other cholesterol tests. I haven’t seen my doctor to discuss my results yet, but a lot of my numbers were high. i’m a 22F. has anyone else has these advanced blood tests done? if so, what did they show and what resulted from them? As of now i’m not doing anything to treat my high cholesterol (270’s) and lipids (190’s) Thanks!
