I found a lot of people were confusing my c-PTSD behaviours I developed later on life for neurodivergent conditions I did not display symptoms for or ever felt I identified with growing up. e.g. a lot of people with ADHD have mistakenly thought I have ADHD as well. Anyone else have similar experiences?

how do yall cope with paranoia? personally i struggle with random episodes of extreme paranoia and anxiety that someone is coming to get me. my heart will race and my eyes will water until i lock the doors and get to a safe place. the fear doesnt go away until i manage to completely distract myself via phone, tv, etc.

I’ve been in trauma therapy for a year and a half, had EMDR and currently in ACT therapy. Question is, why am I always so tired? Therapist said it’s because I’m healing, but I can’t get anything done. I’m not motivated to cook or clean. I’m very concerned. Any one else suffer from this and have suggestions on how to get out of this funk?

How do I know for definite what my diagnosis is? My mental heath provider persuaded me to get a evaluation. However I only partially agree because after research I found out that another diagnosis I have can show almost identical. It makes sence what they say but im so scared to accept it.

Had a phone call yesterday with Vita Minds, they did an assessment over the phone and I'm now waiting to be put on for CBT therapy. Just wondered if anyone else has gone through this company or therapy, and welcome any advise for starting therapy ❤️

What is C-PTSD? I have some ✨trauma✨ from my military training and the gaslighting involved in causing my current injuries, and im wondering if I should maybe look into it? I don’t think I have it, but I’m not sure if maybe I’m gaslighting myself or suppressing since I’ve noticed myself doing both of those things. I don’t have any dreams or flashbacks, at least nothing visual. There are a few things that “trigger” me, certain words and logos and patterns make me instantly anxious, I’m trying to go to do self therapy because I can’t afford normal therapy rn, and I don’t know if my reactions to certain memories and things are normal. I know I have some childhood trauma that’s kinda effecting it all, but I’m again not sure if I’m just having a normal reaction to trauma or if I need to try something different
