Hello there, on second week of 25mg of Zoloft and the edge is off; calmness is in with much less anxiety if any. With the regular anxiety I feel; I feel empowered to take care of things without freaking out. Doctor wants me to be on 50mg; however; I rather stay at 25 since it’s working from what I feel.

There isn't an exact science to psych meds, so if you feel good at the 25mg, I would say stay there. You can always ask for an increase if you feel like you need it later. Too many times I was told I needed to be on a certain medication and that eventually it would make me feel better. When I finally said I wanted to try the medication I am currently on, things got so much better. Being your own advocate is one of the best things you can do.

Stick to what you feel. Don't let them push it on you. If you feel you need it up'd you can reach out. I'm also on zoloft and they did the same thing. I did it and felt off instead of better. I took it back down and felt much better. Be your own advocate. Happy that you're feeling better!!
