i was watching some short clips on YouTube and i came across a good amount of videos that showed people expressing their opinions/thoughts about things/issues and i found some of their response to be... idk ignorant. I've been bullied every since I was a child whether it was my skin tone, my family's background, my parents birthplace, my looks, everything and it hurts when I remember the things said to me because words do hurt. they hurt real bad. and well this girl was doing a interview and she said something about a girl in her hs class accusing her of being a bully and she started saying how taht was far from the truth. I continued listening to her explanation and I thought well perhaps it actually didnt happen but then she just exposed herself by raisings her voice, getting irritated as she continued to explain, so she basically outed herself. she said even if I did I dont remember and she then asked the interviewer if they even remember what happen in hs to which the interviewer said no *giggles* and she continues by saying we were teenagers, we had bad days and etc. and I was disgusted by her. she tried guilt tripping the victim like if it was her fault that they remember her actions. its honestly so sad that bullies get to get away with everything. they ruined the lives of people and hurt us so bad mentally and physically and they get to get away by saying "we were children" " I've matured" "we've had bad days"etc. they basically guilt tripping their victims and blame it on "their bad days" but I've had bad days and I never once threw hatred towards someone. I've had to be mature at a young age since I had to rely on myself when my parents worked early. my escape from home issues was school but school was just the same. it's honestly so sad how bullies get to live happily while the ones who suffered had to carry all those negative things with them. is it too much to expect them to apologize in person? words hurt but sometimes all we need is a sincere apology from a grown mature person. p.s if anyones wondering who I was talking about it was a youtuber name emma Chamberlain. something like that.
