just an in general question? when should a child begin useing and mouthwash and adult toothpaste. my daughter finally has all if her adult teeth in so I'm trying to have her switch but she is very reluctant. there is much too much fluoride in kid mouthwash and I though it was dangerous for adult teeth. I mean kid mouthwash has about 2.5 times more fluoride. it had to be cut down drastically for reasoning to the adult teeth right? same with the tooth paste the amounts are quite different for the different teeth we have as adults versus being kids. I was going to allow her to finish up what she has but only buy adult stuff here on out. she is not ok with that and very upset towards me. I even thought that the high fluoride can even rot our teeth... I don't know but I'm about to try to tell her anything to get her to switch easier in hopes.
