Struggling with Suicidal Thoughts

Yes. I have relied on suicidal ideation as my main coping mechanism since I was 12/13. In the past year I have been working on trying to cope in other ways. It’s been really hard and there are some periods of time where I do fall back into using suicidal ideation as a coping mechanism. In those times I’m very open with my therapist and I take some time to review some healthy coping mechanisms.

yeah, it comes up pretty much daily and it’s been that way since i was 12. some days are better than others and there’s been periods of time where it didn’t come up at all for a while but currently i have those thoughts several times each day
