Does anyone have suicidal thoughts on a regular basis?

I do. Pretty much everyday. I’m going to be switching my medication soon but I don’t even know if that will help. And like other people said, it’s my constant escape plan. I always tell myself, if this or that happens, then I’ll do it. I also suffer from pretty serious chronic pain that makes living pretty hard. I can’t imagine living 30+ more years in the pain that I’m in. But, I have kids and altho I have attempted suicide twice in the past and have been hospitalized twice, I have no plans to actually do it. But, I do fantasize about it on a daily basis. But, my kids keep me here, they keep me going. Without them, I would have checked the fuck out a long time ago. So. You’re not alone. I hope you feel better. Not wanting to live is very draining. Sending love and light and healing vibes ✌🏼🖤💫

Not on a regular basis, but they're pretty prominent when they are around 😥

Not on a regular basis, I do often though. I have notice I get these thoughts when I'm alone or just out of no where when I'm will a crowd of people.

I’ve had this for a long time. I don’t have a plan to do anything. It is that feeling of not wanting to be here anymore and imagining thoughts of ways to make that happen. But I have never tried to kill myself and probably never will. I told my therapist it is my personal hell. That dread is a horrible feeling.

Yup. It's like my escape plan in my head. No desire to use it, but it's there just in case.

Used to. Get thee to the hospital if this is happening to you. Therapy helps too (and there's more than one kind).

More than I like to admit even on medication

Not on a regular basis, it just depends on my depression level. But please seek some help if you’re having them regularly. Go to a therapist, go to the ER, go to your PCP, talk to your best friend, just talk to someone. Believe me, you matter and people WILL miss you and will be devastated if you die. I know what it’s like to be in the depths of hell with no end in sight. I know what it’s like to feel like no one cares. Let me tell you, if no one else cares, *I* care.

before medication, yes, constantly. i was exhausted with existing and it felt like the answer to every mistake i made was suicide. if youre not seeing professional help, please consider it. life can be easier
