I’ve been struggling with suicide ideation thoughts again and I’ve been wondering what coping skills you guys use to throw off that track of death? If that makes sense. I don’t feel comfortable talking to a suicide line because I’m not exactly planning anything, but it’s still somewhat concerning.

Sometimes it is about finding things that keeps you here for short increments. I know finding a big reason to live can be very hard and for someone that’s hopeless and helplessness it is almost impossible. Therefore, I suggest you find reasons to stay alive for this month. List all the things you want to get done or other obligations you have. When this month ends, do the same for the next. This gives you time to find the help you need in the meantime.
I highly recommend talking to a suicide line regardless. Ideation is equally serious as having a plan. If possible find a therapist or explore outpatient treatment. Whatever you do, talking to someone is soooooo important
