I'm finding it extremely difficult to lose any amount of weight. it doesn't matter if I diet or exercise. I haven't lost a pound since I turned 16, only gained and gained more. I know it has to do with my meds.

One of the replies suggests that weight gain can indeed be a side effect of certain medications. For instance, one person mentioned gaining 30 lbs due to their meds and another reported a weight gain of 100 pounds over 7 years, which started with Lexapro and birth control. It's also noted that living with chronic pain can cause the body to go into survival mode and hold onto all of the calories.
