I have been struggling with everything lately. I really need some things that could help with processing my emotions and calm my anxiety so I can sleep at night. My husband was in a motorcycle accident on April 1st. He became dependent, so I left my job and moved across the country back to his home town to get help from his family. He has been recovering well, and he is much less dependent on me. I have been struggling with separation anxiety as this accident happened while I was at work. I'm struggling with insomnia as I lay in bed some nights and have flash back to the accident scene I arrived to, including all the emotion and how everything unfolded the first day. I start a new job soon, but I am still struggling with emotions. We are financially strained due to the accident, so therapy isn't an option at this time.

@Sunshineseeker90 unfortunately I won't as I will be a PRN employee. I'm currently on Medicaid after I lost my benefits from my last job. It was just supposed to be temporary until I was able to get on benefits at a new job. Medicaid has a ridiculous system and made it take 2 months for me to get into a psychiatrist. I am getting there and will soon be able to seen a therapist. The system just sucks right now and am unsure as to when.

That sounds like a lot! I'm so sorry. ☹ It sounds like you are having PTSD. I know you said you can't afford therapy, that is really too bad. It sounds like it would be beneficial to you. Are you in the U.S. Will you have insurance through your new job?
