Trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and PTSD has totally taken over my life. I just can't snap out of it. I am completely traumatized. I will never be the same again.

I was stuck in a horrible mental cycle for years. I finally got anxiety medication from Alpha medical without insurance so my family wouldn't know and it allowed me to finally have control over my own thoughts again. I hope things get better for you!

Can you see a therapist? Have you seen a therapist?

@theweirdestproblems when my husband passed I lost health insurance so I'm working on that now.

@MisunderstoodWidow I totally understand! Some clinics will do something called a 'Sliding Scale' that essentially means your proce per session is based off of your income. Helped me to afford therapy when insurance was difficult.

A lot of people don't like the idea of using medication to treat mental illnesses but I find it incredibly helpful :)

I’ve found that comparing yourself to who you used to be does way more harm than good. You are a completely different person now and all you can do is strive to be the best version of yourself in the present. I was a world champion jiu jitsu competitor before my major trauma and now I can barely walk some days due to autoimmune problems/depression/etc. You are so much wiser now and have a totally different perspective in life. You still bring value to the world and things will get better if you keep pushing forward.
