I've been thinking about my depression recently because I've realised that I've been depressed for over 10 years. wanted to check out the app, see if maybe people were discussing any treatments I haven't tried yet. I've tried seeing so many therapists and have tried so many medications throughout the years and nothing ever seems to help much. I did also get an autism diagnosis around three years ago, and I wonder how much my depression is influenced by by my autism- when I spend an entire week laying in bed, how can I tell if thats a depressive episode, or if I'm hiding or recovering from sensory input that overwhelmed me because of my autism? I don't know.

One user mentioned that getting an autism diagnosis didn't necessarily help them, but learning about autism and understanding themselves better did. They suggested trying different strategies for dealing with things and understanding how autism affects you to help yourself more. It's important to continue seeking professional help and exploring various treatments, as well as understanding the connection between your autism and depression.
