Honestly it sucks so bad to constantly be picking up and dropping hobbies- I want to run blogs about creative stuff I do and make consistent content for them but I get so bored of whatever I like for long periods of time after doing a ton of it at once, and then I feel bad for telling everyone I was so into doing the thing and wanted to make it for them too and then dropping it for months. Like I’ve run an aesthetic blog, a tarot blog, an art blog, and I’m thinking of starting a writing blog, and all of them have months long periods of complete inactivity and it makes me feel so guilty, but I also have no drive to do anything at all if I’m not telling people or broadcasting it

@crocodellie Yessss! I always feel kinda embarrassed because I show people how passionate I am for something and then I drop it completely.

I go through this exact thing. Having some accountability from my loved ones makes me less likely to drop it, but I feel you big time.

Honestly call it the Angsty ADHD Crafter Blog. That way as your tastes and hobbies change you have a umbrella and don't have to change a thing

Honestly me all the time but I just try to enjoy the things that come my way which I know is easier said than done
Same here. It's so hard to find things to stick to, and even harder to get that love to anyone else. People always say I am indecisive, but truly I love things with my whole heart for a short period of time, not me faking.
I started college to be an interpreter! After one semester I wanted to switch majors! How am I supposed to finish an entire degree???
I do it too. Add in depression to that, and I hyper-focus to the detriment of all else. Just me and my reading manga binge, or my text based roleplaying binge. I can't even think of doing anything else not really when I'm hyper focused on one thing.
Same. I'm feeling super low at the moment just want you to know same, you're not alone
Do your hyperfocuses cycle? Mine do so I can take that into account

I suggest maybe even being a freelance writer or crafts blogger. You write about what you feel you can (like blogging) pick something up, and document what you enjoyed about it, what you didn't and then provide tips, tricks, and sources to start. Maybe?
I can relate!! I dont take meds for add by choice anymore and its tough. Im stubborn tho haha but i run a blog too. I have a set schedule for it tho that i try to follow. I dont always but at least i have direction. I also downloaded an app to help me auto post and set reminders. For appointments etc i always write the time down 30min earlier to trick myself into arriving early. Also do notttt underestimate phone alarms!!! Hope these tips help you & feel free to tell people if it gives you motivation ❤️ 🙌
DUDE I can relate so hard. I can't have any interests I swear to God. I'll tell everyone that this is what I'm gonna do! This is the thing I'm gonna make a career out of, what I'm passionate about! And be bored by it in a week
