is anyone else just sort of tired of dealing with their bodies? I'm so frustrated right now that my body is just not cooperating with me, even though I've really been trying to do better for it. I eat a super strict diet, I constantly workout/go to physical therapy, and I wear my splints and take my meds. But somehow it's not enough. I'm really struggling to love my body that is keeping me alive, but being so hard on me at the same time. Anyone feel the same way/have suggestions?

i like to consider the pain something attacking my body as opposed to something my body is doing to me. i know it feels like you’re trapped in a sick body, but lately i’ve been trying to frame it like my body is in this fight with me and not against me 💛

I lost 30 lbs with Mexican food and hardly any red meat. Still ate bread, rice, and spaghetti.

I feel the same way. It's hard, sometimes more so than others. Something that's helped me is understanding that it's okay to be upset. Life sucks sometimes and you have every right to be upset about it, to cry, complain, etc. I often feel better afterwards. Sending low pain days your way 🥄🥄🥄

Maybe there’s something you haven’t heard of yet that would really help like cutting out gluten or something idk. Do you do chair exercises as your excercise?

I feel the same way ✋ it's very hard to deal with my body when it makes me feel like a prisoner inside it. I try to think of my body in a sympathetic way like "You are dealing with a lot, it's so understandable that you can't do this thing". It's not always easy but it helps
