Feeling Hopeless with My Health Struggles

anyone here questioning what the point of trying is anymore? or like no matter how healthy you try to be there's always something wrong with you or a new issue coming to light? I do. It sucks. I don't understand how this became my life. I don't know why my body hates me. I feel so hopeless.

Yeah, I feel like as soon as I find something that works and get some of symptoms under control, different symptoms appear and it’s really discouraging

OuchiePrincess so agree I figured this out just recently for myself just the other day I was feeling like the above post. I think it's very important. I also did it before when I went through depression and anxiety in highschool. I kind of feel like all my illnesses are a blessing in disguise (propelled me to be more sincere about life like not laid back/lazy) and definitely are those stepping stones.

I know this is gonna sound cheesy as hell and you might hate me for it, but “ your greatest suffering becomes the stepping stones to your success if you have the courage to look at your life in a different light than you have before.” Without a change in attitude, in perspective, in vision, we see the same things every day. The same problems. And no new solutions. But you cannot focus solely on a problem expecting a new solution to come out of nowhere. You must shift your energy and your focus and your intention on building the life you want to have. Shift the focus on solution-based problem solving, and suddenly you have a platform to project your positive energy towards. And even if you didn’t meet your goal initially, you are headed in a more positive direction where you stand to learn more about how to solve your problems. It takes time and courage to change your life. But most of all it takes willingness to keep showing up and try. I’m not saying every day is gonna be perfect. But we can build a bridge towards the life we want with the time and the tools we have now. Even, limited, and disabled though we might be, persistence is a beautiful thing.

So many of us feel the exact same way. If it’s any consolation, you’re certainly not alone. A huge part of coping for me has been learning my limits and adjusting my life to accommodate my health issues. I work from home and I’m self employed to do that. I also don’t have kids yet, and I have cats instead of dogs. Gotta keep things low maintenance while my body and mind are so high maintenance!

We will find healing though. We must not give up into doubt ever. Our healing journey may look different from each others and other people who may have just like one thing but the important thing is that we are always willing to look towards hope and healing. And finding a community with issues kind of gave me that hope again which to me personally felt like a God thing. Don’t give up girl we got this please don’t ever give up on yourself or your healing journey. ❤️💪🍵

I feel this. It is very hard to deal with. I feel useless many days because i can't do a lot of things due to my illnesses. We have some different things going on from the looks of it but it seems we have a similar experience. If you ever need a friend who understands that feeling you can always message me. Hopefully we can both find ways to cope with all these issues. Stay strong ❤️
