Has anyone ever created a “survival kit” for when they go places? I’ve heard of a few kits that include like emergency medications, but also things like therapy dough and essential oils. Does anyone have any tips on how to create this?

A few years ago I found a pencil box that looks like a monster and I call it my worry monster it has fidget toys, meds, salt (to snap me back during panic attacks) essential oils, bandaids, itch relief cream, and a note from my spouse ❤️

Anxiety meds. Mints. Ginger candies. Nausea meds (personally i have zofran, gas x, tums, and pepto). Tylenol for headaches. Several types of fidgets. I prefer not to carry around stuff like dough and putty often bc i tend to throw my bag around a lot and i have awful luck when it comes to sticky and gooey things. Headphones and_or those loop things that dim noise. Lotion. Chaptsick. << the last two rlly help my sensory issues and skin picking. A dose of my daily medications incase i forget to take them. Breathing exercises downloaded to my phone. Self defense stuff such as mace. A lanyard with medications and conditions and emergency contacts. Lil snacks, especially saltines or high calorie snacks for when i get rlly weak feeling / realize i forgot to eat.

omg yes! i have one that i carry around with me everywhere and then i have a bigger one i keep in the car. the one in my bag has anti anxiety tabs, stomach ache tabs, and 2 stretchy stress toys. the one in my car has cooling packs, bubbles and straws (to help deep breathing), and some bigger stress toys and things to keep me grounded and distracted. I think the best way to go about making one (or multiple) is to just grab some things you know will be easy to reach for if you need them. you can even make it fun and maybe go shopping with family or friends to help find things that you think will help you in the middle of a panic. i’ve built mine over about a year since i’ve made it just adding things i know will help and taking out things i don’t really grab for. i hope this helps at all :)
