One thing that I keep with me all the time is either salt packets or sour candy/ small bottle of lemon juice. I've found that when panic starts to set in the jolt that salt or sour gives you is a great grounding tool. It forces your system to focus on the harsh input rather than the cause of the anxiety

I like to have lavender scented things on me, as a distraction. A fidget cube or the like. Or therapy. Or Drinking cold water. Whatever you can get that has a calming effect on you.
