Anxiety is taking over, need advice

im not sure whats going on, my anxiety is high, and i dont know whatelse to do. my normal things that work aren't working this time

I feel like that sometimes happens to me too. Recently, what I did was make what I call a mental health crisis kit. In it, I have mints (those and sour things snap you out of fight or flight mode in situations when you’re anxious), a book so I can take my mind off the situation, an essential oil roller (which I find seem to help some and not all), and a thing of pinch me therapy dough. Other things I’ve heard you can add to the kit are knitting or crocheting supplies and a fidget spinner.

I feel the same. I'm starting with a new therapist Friday but it feels like forever away.
