The Romanticization of Mental Illness

with DID and OSDD, people think that it's just like having a bunch of friends in your head. that it's all sunshine and rainbows yes, there are good moments where get along and feel like family, but this disorder is far from fun. it's caused by childhood trauma and often comes with depression, anxiety, PTSD, derealization, depersonalization, and more most days i dont know who i am. a lot of us dont want to be here, but it's not like we can leave. we all are forced to share a body and a life, and we will never be able to have our own. we will have this disorder forever. it's hard sometimes
