Other systems, I have a strange question. I'm a newer formed headmate and something I've experienced with being new to a system is identity. Is it normal for you to need assistance and/or help in figuring out a Name, Pronouns, etc... I've been experiencing this at the start of my conscious formation. is this something that's normal within other systems?

Yes absolutely! Not only is that normal, but some fully developed alters just don’t have names, appearances, etc. If you want your own name, I encourage you to get the assistance you need with figuring yourself out, but don’t feel pressured to adopt any part of an identity before you’re ready (if you want that part of an identity at all).

@lateletters thank you. I have found a name but it took around 5 months to figure it out

Yes, it is normal within other systems. Some suggestions include asking yourself basic questions such as your name, pronouns, favorite color, food, type of music, style, aesthetic etc. If you don't know, that's okay. Keeping a list of known alters can help identify yourself easier. Another method is to take a role call of your system to see if there's any distinct reaction to a name or several names in the system. Visualizing a place you know well in your head and seeing who all is there with you in that space can also be helpful.
