Think about what you want to say and how to act and then think about how that would make other people feel based on the situation. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@AltheaGraceLove8016 Thank you. I always regret how I react after the fact, after the words or actions have been said or displayed. It seems I only realize what I’ve reacted as was wrong after it’s been pointed out. I hope to avoid this in the future. It’s tiring for myself and for my girlfriend especially.

Take a few steps away from the situation. As soon as you feel a reaction, step away to organize your thoughts and feelings. I have to do that often. I also have let everyone know that if I sound angry for no reason to let me know because I have a hard time controlling the tone of what I say.

For me I will literally stop what I'm doing back away and take a huge breath. I've been will try to do some square breathing while I let my brain process the situation and decide how to handle it. Meditation is another fantastic tool!
