Hello, I was wondering what non-medicine things do you do that help with your conditions?

At night before bed, I take an aromatherapy diffuser which is supposed to calm your anxiety & help you sleep. Other than that, just having an excellent, well-balanced diet & taking essential supplements like a multivitamin has been scientifically proven to improve your mood. So, try your best to eat very well to supply your body with all the essential nutrients it needs

learning to listen to my body; if my body is telling me that it needs to be alone, or that it needs more greens, or that it needs the lil serotonin boost of eating something sweet, i try to listen. learning to differentiate between what my body actually needs versus what my conditions are telling it is really helpful to me

In general I try to focus on what’s “good for me” rather than what “feels good.” Being around people who like to party/do drugs/are impulsive and wild is fun but it’s not good for me personally. Staying up all night feels good, but it’s not good for me. I guess that’s pretty generic advice but it’s worked out okay in my experience. Going on walks, taking time away from my phone, being in relationships (romantic and platonic) that feel fulfilling and have healthy boundaries rather that relationships that are intense, etc. Having a routine helps too. I wake up early for work, but even on my off days I wake up at the same time and stay awake at least for an hour (doing the tea or coffee, wordle, feed/pet cat) because the routine helps.
