Is it just me or is anyone else having a hard time finding suitable savoury snacks that are low carb and low sugar?

      Yes, a lot of pork crackling has an aftertaste and not-so-great additives, I love baking but I'm not so happy about using lots of sweeteners.

      Low fat cheeses and almonds/nuts are good options! Jerky, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts.

      It is hard and I try to be super prepared (my husband is on a low sugar low carb diet). Snacks we always have in the house: salted nuts, sugar free protein bars, sugar free sweets and chocolate from Holland and Barratt, spicy chickpeas and lentils from Indian shops, beef jerky/biltong. And I always try to have in the fridge: carrot sticks, hummus, chorizo chopped up or kabanos sausage or something like that, cheese, boiled eggs or egg mayo, tuna sweetcorn mayo, cream cheese & smoked salmon (he has those last 3 combos on a high protein rice cake or dumped on lettuce - Kallo lentil cakes are his fave. I hope these ideas help a bit.. xxx

      Always, but making your own pop corn is pretty good, and so are pork crackling snacks. Also a handful of nuts is nice or I just discovered baby capsicums as snacks with humus or cream cheese 🤗
