Just trying out something new. I've been struggling with keeping up with my household chores and clutter. Body doubling is great, but I don't have anyone to do that with.

My therapist has me make a playlist (or a few) that's 30 minutes long and clean until it's over and then take time for me for a break and then just keep doing that. It helps. And start with smaller areas or targeted areas and try not to let the whole thing overwhelm you

I usually have a podcast or tv show that I only listen to during cleaning or even just a specific music artist.🙌 I wish the body doubling would work for me but I just feel guilty for that person to deal with the mess or guilty that they don't have my undivided attention.

@Eemeenie yeah podcasts done work for me, all of mine are dark comedy ones so I'd be more focused on laughing than cleaning. I'd have to stick to music playlists 😅
