This is probably not the best advice, but I noticed a connection and considerable decrease in the pain and duration of heavy periods when I gained weight. However, I'm now trying to lose weight because, apparently, weight affects fertility.

I take birth control nonstop. I had to try a few because some raise my blood pressure. But without it I’m anemic and have no energy because of heavy periods
