Ever since a year or so after getting my period, I've had trouble with heavy bleeding. It would keep me home from school (as if I wasn't already not attending due to circumstances) and I hated sitting/laying for too long without a toilet break. As of 2020, I've been using birth control to stop my periods completely, and through research, I've found that heavy clotting (aka 90% of what was coming out was just huge clots) is abnormal. How do you cope with it? I want to feel normal and just treat it like a minor inconvenience like everyone else, but I can't.

Some people have found relief from heavy bleeding by using hormonal birth control pills, which can help regulate periods and make them lighter. Others have tried IUDs or progesterone pills to manage the bleeding. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional to discuss your specific situation and explore potential treatment options.
