Struggling with Grief and PTSD after TBI

So I’m coming up on my three year anniversary of gaining my TBI of my right parietal lobe and my PTSD ( shocker CPTSD) and no one understands me. The one person who took the time was my mom and she died suddenly April 3, 2022 so moving through grief alone has been hard because my family doesn’t understand my rage filled grief. They in turn have left me to grieve alone. So I’m looking for others who may understand me.

      Huge huge hugs! So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom and the other struggles too! Tbis complicate everything, our emotions, our mental status, etc...keep going! One thing I've found helpful is an app called Finch. It allows you to journal, reminds you of self care and you get to dress up your character.

        @rebirthedwr thankfully my therapist is helping a lot, although I may bump it up to two sessions a week. I’ve been video journaling( it’s easier since my tbi, I had to learn to write again and typing is “hunt and peck”) but it’s helping. Building back my tough warrior self. But it’s hard. I’m so glad I found this app
