hey! new to the app. trying to figure out a way of maintaining a fulfilling social life like I used to have. it's very hard to be 21 in nyc when you shouldn't drink (not that i dont sometimes give in) , find your favorite venues hard due to lack of seating for my disabled ass, and can hardly get there anyway. When I do have a night like I used to, I can barely move the next day. on top of all that, I barely show up to class (commuter school in nyc). any other young disabled recovering addicts/alcoholics feel old before their time and don't know what to do about it? (pls don't reach out about 12 step meetings, they have done the opposite of help)

I can not imagine the pain you are in at 21 . It must be very difficult. I love music . I went to a show about 2 years ago . I used a mobility aid which was hard as hell. That was the last show. How do you deal with pain issues ? If you feel like sharing that .
