tw? venting and abuse my mom busted in my room today yelling after work. she told me i’m causing her grief. she threatened to hurt me so i would end up in foster care instead of living with her (i’m a teenager so i have a few years) it’s always been my dad threatening me, never my mom. i texted my therapist but i don’t know how to talk to her because i hate crying in front of people and i’m a complete mess right now. how do i continue living in such an unsafe world? i don’t feel safe anywhere. i fear for my life at home and school. pedophiles are at my work so i fear for my safety and body. how can i keep going when there’s nowhere i can go to feel truly safe? i still have a good long 2-3 years before college if i can even afford to leave the house. please any advice or anyone to tell me i’m not alone

Hello Vlynz, Thank you for sharing this information. If you're goal is to remove yourself from this abusive environment, tell your therapist exactly what you just told us (and go into detail). They are a mandated reporter and they will have you removed from this situation. And please report your coworkers who are making advances at you to your superior (if you can). I know this is all so overwhelming, but very little can be done to change this situation if you don't get the help you need. You deserve peace and safety. ❤️

Fortunatly when you turn 18 you can move out, it will be hard but you can leave that world behind and make a new one for yourself. Im 20 and i never thought id make it past 17 but somehow i held on. You got this.

@vlynz If you have nearby safe family, you will not go into foster care. The system always has a family first approach. But if foster care becomes a possibility you can have your caseworker contact your job and they can handle that. You deserve to be safe, you're still a kid! Much luck to you.
