I hate feeling like my life is falling apart. It feels like i have too many things to hold so something is always being dropped and forgotten. I feel like a failure of an adult and a person and just want control over my life and hate knowing im the only thing in the way of that.

      I know what you mean. My mom gave me some good advice, which has helped me and applied to multiple scenarios in my life. She has always told me that when I feel overwhelmed about something I need to do, to create a physical/mental checklist and take it one step at a time. One small thing at a time. When I was little, she gave me the job of trimming a bush back and it was a lot for me to take in seeing how large the bush was and thinking about how long it would take to do. She gave me a small section of the bush to trim, let me take a small break, then gave me another small section. She repeated this until the entire bush was trimmed, and I remember feeling so accomplished. I hope this brings help, please know you aren't alone :)

      I hope you feel like you can get more control of your life. I use goal setting and lots of lists to keep track of everything. It helps me to reach my daily goal. Sometimes I get really overwhelmed with all the things I have to do and feel overloaded at times. But if I take one thing at a time I tend to get it all done.

      It's not just you... Adulting is hard, even more so when you have bipolar. What i do is try to choose one thing to prioritize and the other things are like - if i do them, great, if not, whatever. When I'm in episode i always prioritize my mental health. Trust me, even completely healthy people have trouble staying in top of it all. Give yourself some break. If you wanna chat you can always shoot me a message. Take care ❤️
