just a rant. no one around me knows how to feels to have anxiety or depression, i try to talk to people about it all the time and they just say like “just don’t” when it all ab self harm or when i talk about how i feel like i’m going to go into another deep depression and i don’t want to. it’s so infuriating but i can’t be mad just because they don’t know how it feels. the other day someone begged me to talk to them because it’s not good to keep in my feelings and i did, i poured my heart out to him which i never do i just needed someone to talk to and i have no one else. i sent such a long paragraph and all he said was “how do you stop thinking like this” and i said “i don’t know” and he said “i can’t help you if you don’t know” and then stopped answering me after 🫤.

Sheesh ikr! U good? Wanna vent???
Sometimes, a rant really helps, honestly. I can not stand the "go that to someone" comment. Some people think therapy fixes everything, and they are dead wrong. Take it from someone who's been in and out of therapy over 20 years. It's absolutely annoying. I completely understand the way you feel and respect it. You're not wrong for feeling the way you do at all. If it helps any, I use distractions and diversion. Me staying in my mind too long is very dangerous to my health. Some people do not understand a situation until they go through it or are going through it.
Savmisko, be proud that you've reached out n ranted. Ranting is good!!! Just don't expect the reaction you expect if that makes sense, don't let how someone replies or lack of replies affect how u feel about reaching out n opening up!!! Stay you ❤️

🙌 people who haven’t experienced anxiety or depression have no idea how you feel and they can’t understand your situation
You need to find someone to talk to or this will eat you up. Have you opened up to a professional? Eg Doctor/GP
The wow was meant as a reaction to your friends. Sorry I just caught that.
Wow. Sometimes just being an ear is what you need. But in this case it sounds like you're wanting direction but don't know where to start. If I may suggest, I personally once I know it's a depressive spiral starting. I start prioritizing self care first. Be aggressive with it. A "so what" to the darker thoughts helps.

One of the replies from a similar situation suggests that talking about your feelings can be tough, especially when the person you're talking to doesn't understand or isn't helpful. Venting can be a temporary release of emotions and a way to help you process your thoughts out loud. If you ever want to vent to someone, try finding someone who promises to be understanding and open to you. You shouldn't be shunned for something like that.
