I have had mild numbness in my left leg (mostly upper thigh) for at least 7 years now. Within the past three months, my left upper thigh moves between excruciating burning pain, tingling, numbness, and (most recent) stabbing pain. My PCP believes it is meralgia paresthetica. I have also experienced paresthesia of my entire left side (in conjunction with the thigh), mainly concentrated in my face/my eye. The thigh pain is unbearable. I have been sleeping 3-4 hours a night. I can’t get into a neurologist for at least three weeks. Any recommendations? 😭
