Dealing with Neuropathy Caused by Back Problems

The neuropathy I have was caused by my back I have DDD and my discs are herniating one by one. Surgery after surgery. Something leaked and calcified on my sciatic nerve. It's burning pain yes but what scares me is the numbness that is progressing??? I can't feel my toes. one half of my left foot is numb. My left thigh either burns 🥵 or is completely numb? How have y'all dealt with this? Am I going to loose all feeling? How do you deal with it? Is this fear of not being able to walk one day irrational????
