I hate how anxiety is tense in the chest area. I tend to over think if my heart is okay.

I realize sometimes hydrating and being mindful of deep breaths help.

@Stephlova your post was 6 months ago. I am just getting on here and trying things this last week. It hurts my heart to see people share something and no one says anything. I know it's just kind of how a lot of these things work online. It's not like you were singled out looks like there's plenty of people who know I never said anything back. Doesn't make it okay. So you can know that if you hear me out there at all I hope you're able to get on the plane and go visit your grandparents or at least you might have found a different route to overcome your anxiety. My son has severe anxiety where it feels like he's going to die and it makes him have an entirely upset stomach and have to run to the bathroom. All I mentioned it is I know it's not just being a little bit scared. Grandparents are important I hope they understand. And I hope you have found some help. My son is searching finally on his own. There are tools just around all work for everybody and you have to try them to know and not give up when they don't.
I feel all of you!!! I have a terrible fear of flying and I have to visit my grandparents
Oh, I am super paranoid about my heart. If you are laying down and you’re heart rate is plus 140. Might think about going to the ER. Drink lots of water. Monitor your blood pressure. I have experienced plenty of elevated heart rate situations to know when I should be concerned or not. So that helps me and gives me confidence that I will be fine if I just lay down for a few hours. Most of my chest pain is muscle related so I really try and focus where the pain is coming from. If it’s muscle then I don’t worry.
It feels like my chest in being crushed. I try and stretch to open it up. Hmm. I should have my girlfriend massage my chest. I know the pain will pass eventually. The dyspnea is also the worst. But thankfully that has passed for me. I need to do more yin yoga and open myself up. Stimulate more blood flow and promote more healing. Anyway… Yes! Chest pain sucks. Anxiety sucks! But there is a path to recovery and a bright future. Okay I am gonna go stretch now.
A $10,000 ER bill taught me all about how anxiety on the heart. Today I was reading Oprah’s book, What Happened to You? and she explained it well.
Yea I have had so bad of an anxiety attack I thought I was having a heart attack. So I get it.
