I understand this completely. I'm always worried about having possible heart issues. I get pains in my chest and palpitations often, especially at night. It helps to try to think of other, more plausible reasons why it could be happening. My own anxiety doesn't usually cause chest pain but I know it's possible. There's always a chance the chest wall is inflammed as well.

I hear ya a 100%. I was having palpitations and sometimes felt as though my heart was going to beat through my chest. I have a family history of heart problems too. I did find some relief in going to a cardiologist and getting tested, but since I have worked on my anxiety I haven't had those issues anymore. Not saying your situation is similar to mine, but dont ever give up on trying to find out answers and more information.

When I was 16 I woke up barely being able to breath with extreme pain in my chest. Was told it was from red meat. A few weeks later my dad had a heart attack at 36. I started watching my meat intake and started hiking. The pains still happen a few times a year but they tell me everything is fine.

I have never had pain or tension in my chest, but I have had weird symptoms that were linked to anxiety.

yea it's strange that it moves around and isn't always in the same spot, but I already had the test to make sure it wasn't heart related but still have the thoughts in the back of my head ya know
