I'm so exhausted. I feel so weak and worthless. it seems like the more I try to care for myself, the worse I get. idk what to do, I want to ask my doctor about pain management and mobility aids bc it seems like all there is left to do is deal. no matter how much I try to improve, I always end up curled up in bed, fighting for my life to get through the pain and exhaustion. then, after all that, my mother-in-law comes back and complains about having to do everything herself, as if I'm out of work by choice and not bc my doctors told me it would cause my body to give up.

Sending Love & light your way✨. I know exactly how this feels because I’ve been living it everyday for the past 3 years. My wish is you connect w/ the right specialist to get some real improvement so you can have a sense of normalcy again. You deserve that. I won’t tell you to be strong or “keep going” because man did I get tired of hearing that from ppl who had NO idea how long I’ve been strong and what it takes just to get through the day. Sometimes you have to take it moment by moment. Do what you need to do for you… and if you physically can’t, that’s ok too. If you ever need to talk, you can hit my inbox. I’m here!💯 This is entirely more frustrating than our loved ones could ever understand which makes you feel that much more alone. I’ve got a father who calls me irresponsible and lazy everyday as if before I got “sick” I wasn’t always at work doing OT, cleaning up, always on the move. Now I just physically can’t but that’s never considered. So just know I get it & I’m here

One of the replies from a similar situation suggests seeking help from a therapist who has experience with chronic illness. Telehealth sessions can be beneficial as you don't have to leave the house, and it may help you handle the pain and exhaustion better. Remember that you are not alone in this struggle, and reaching out for support can make a difference.
